U2 will be part of the welcome wagon for Jimmy Fallon’s new late-night time slot.
When The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon debuts Feb. 17, with Late Show host Fallon replacing longtime Tonight Show guy Jay Leno, U2 will be the inaugural musical guest. Actor Will Smith is the first guest.
The news was announced at today’s Television Critics Association press tour.
