Remarks:
This concert marks not only U2’s first appearance in New Zealand but also in the entire Southern Hemisphere. U2 intended on touring in India, Australia and New Zealand on the War Tour but due to exhaustion, only played a few concerts in Japan. The shows in this 1st leg of the Unforgettable Fire tour are almost like another extension of the War Tour since the band were not yet fully familiar with their new album’s songs. Thus, the setlists in the Australian and New Zealand shows were very similar to that of those from the War Tour. Pride (In The Name Of Love) debuts at this concert.
