Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich has revealed his band recently agreed to tour with fellow rock giants U2 and Green Day.
In an interview with MTV News to promote Metallica’s 3D concert movie Through the Never, Ulrich told us the bands have talked about joining forces and going on tour together.
“U2 came to San Francisco two summers ago and we ended up having a lot to drink with them and Green Day following a dinner,” explained the Dane, who formed Metallica in 1981 with frontman James Hetfield.
