Well, it looks like Christmas came early this year, didn’t it? Who needs Santa, when we have U2! Those of us lucky enough to get past the pre-sale code nightmare last Thursday or achieve tickets in the general sale, then your Christmas is complete, but those of you that are sweating out tickets & Ticketmaster for the second round, there is hope, the U2 Christmas CD. That’s right, for the 1st time ever, U2 & Christmas come together like never before. So, why hasn’t U2 combined some existing U2 song titles into Christmas Classics yet, it’s an instant bazillion dollars or equivalent to two tickets on the secondary market. Think about it. Here are a few ideas:
CD Title- The Christmas Tree or Little Drummer Boy (Think about it)
Songs:
All I want for Christmas is you
Silver Bells & Gold
Frosty the snowman & a woman
Feliz Navidaddy’s gonna pay for your crashed car
White Christmas as Snow
The 12 Dirty Days of Christmas
Hark! The Herald of Angel of Harlem sing
Santa Babyface
Run Rudolph Running to Stand Still
Volcano come all he Faithful
The First Time Noel
All I want for Christmas is my two hearts to beat as one
You know you want one. A great stocking stuffer for that U2 fan who was unable to get tickets for the show. It won’t replace seeing U2 live, but it may take the sting out for a few seconds.
