Know Your Bonoisms, Part 20: Making a Comeback

We’ve been hearing for weeks that Bono was on the mend – and now, we finally have something to go on besides photos of him walking around Dublin in a cast. As if the amazing ABC’s letter wasn’t enough, Bono has now given us evidence of his recovery by appearing in a viral video in which a cute Irish couple gets engaged. It’s pretty clear that he and Ali are only in the video because they happened to be in the area, but it’s worth watching nonetheless. Getting a rare glimpse of Bono and Ali together in their “natural habitat,” so to speak, is so sweet; they are clearly incredibly happy together after all these years.

Ok, fine – this video is not new, meaning it was made before the accident. It is, in fact, from October. This would account for the hoarseness of his voice, I guess; it was pretty much right in the middle of all the TV interviews and performances. Bottom line, Bono is making a comeback and that’s all that matters, at least as far as I’m concerned. Chime in and tell me your thoughts.
