U2, frustrated, exhausted and looking for a new musical direction, perform the final concert of the Lovetown Tour tonight. The concert takes on a party atmosphere with U2’s own crew throwing pranks and engaging in tomfoolery. The band has already become self-conscious and slightly jaded of themselves at this point over the overly serious direction they’ve taken on and are looking to revitalize themselves musically at this point.
