Kygo’s insight into his mega-collab with U2

He’s about to play a double-header at the Hollywood Bowl, but Kygo always has time to sit down and chat with Billboard. The Norwegian superstar sat down with Billboard Dance editor Matt Medved backstage at The Meadows Festival and illuminated fans on his new fashion line, his new album, and more. Of course, we had to ask what it was like playing the Rio Olympics closing ceremony.

He also gave a bit of insight into his mega-collab with U2.

“I played the track in my hometown for the first time just to try it out and see what people would think about it, and the response was good” he says. “It’s just amazing for m to be able to work with someone like U2. I’ve been on the phone with Bono a couple times, he’s such a great guy.”
