Bono will be honored Tuesday in Paris with France’s highest cultural honor when he’s made a Commander of the Order of Arts and Letters. This isn’t to be confused with the Legion d’Honneur, which Bono received many years ago from France.
The ceremony is set to happen Tuesday night in Paris.
Meanwhile, Bono was on hand at a ceremony in Nice today unveiling a plaque in honor of Irish author James Joyce. The Irish ambassador was there, along with Paul McGuinness and Bono’s longtime pal Guggi.
