U2’s Bono attended the funeral of Seamus Heaney (WENN)
U2 stars Bono and Adam Clayton were among the mourners, who attended the funeral of Irish poet Seamus Heaney earlier today in Dublin.
Many of Heaney’s family and friends, including Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny and Irish President Michael D. Higgins, were in attendance at the funeral service which took place at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Donnybrook, and led by the late poet’s widow Marie and children Michael, Christopher and Catherine Ann.
