U2’s only show in New York City this spring comes two days after the annual Joey Ramone Birthday Bash concert, and Bono sings a bit of The Ramones’ ‘Rockaway Beach’ during ‘Vertigo.’ ‘One’ is dedicated to economist Jeffery Sachs, who has been Bono’s longtime partner in promoting African relief efforts. At the end of ‘The Fly’, the full band goes into an abbreviated version of David Bowie’s ‘The Jean Genie.’
